I need some ideas for an art college/institute?

So i want to go to college for art I want to become either an illustrator or a cartoonist. I've looked up colleges like ualbany and pratt but I don't think I exactly know what I'm doing I'm still a sophmore in HS. I live in New York and I would like some more ideas for an art college. Thanks.
